BME TFK Autumn Conference 2023

The Autumn Conference of BME’s Centre for Interpreter and Translator Training (TFK) will be held again this year on St Jerome’s Day, the patron saint of translators and interpreters. The online event will start on 29 September at 2.00 pm with a plenary session on how translator and interpreter skills are changing in today’s turbulent market environment, and which languages and specializations are most needed in the market.

The second part of the conference will include an unconventional event, the Professionals Meet Teachers forum, where representatives of the country’s major translation agencies and trainers from other Hungarian training institutions will explore the issues raised in the presentations and analyse the latest trends.
