The 16th annual conference of SZOKOE at BME

The annual conference of the Hungarian Association of Teachers and Researchers of Languages for Specific Purposes (SZOKOE) was held on 11 and 12 November at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics co-organized by the Institute of Modern Languages of BME. This year’s theme was “THE USE OF LANGUAGE FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES: THE USE OF THE LANGUAGE OF SCIENCE AND PROFESSION”. Talks and poster presentations were offered in the following fields: terminology, lexicology, intercultural communication, translation, curriculum, syllabus and material design, innovation, emerging technologies, testing, assessment and evaluation.
