Trainees Meet Professionals: Zsuzsanna Lakatos-Báldy

On our next Trainees Meet Professionals, Zsuzsanna Lakatos-Báldy, an interpreter working on a regular basis for the Budapest Cervantes Institute is going to be our guest. Among others, she will talk about the tasks an interpreter at a cultural institution has to cope with and describe some memorable events she attended as an interpreter.

Zsuzsanna Lakatos-Báldy is associate professor at Budapest Economics University (BGE) and the recently elected president of the the Association of Hungarian Translators and Interpreters. She started her career as a Spanish and Portuguese teacher and has been teaching at the Social Media and Communications Department at BGE for several years now. Besides teaching, she has been doing translation and interpreter assignments due to keep in touch with foreign language cultures. She has been an interpreter at major events attended by delegations of heads of states.
