BME TFK Autumn Conference 2019

BME’s Centre for Interpreting and Translator Training is organising its traditional AUTUMN CONFERENCE on St Jerome’s Day on 27 September 2019. The first part of the day – enjoying the support of DAAD and Goethe Institut – will be devoted to the promotion of the German language with a focus on intercultural communication. The topic will be explored with the help of experts providing presentations in German, and there will be a workshop moderated by a German native speaker trainer, specifically designed to discuss intercultural differences.
In the afternoon, we will be dealing with the issue of soft skills in interpreting (stress management, empathy, networking, etc.) and we will be looking at various ways to develop such skills involving trainers, trainees and market representatives. We look forward to meeting you at the conference.
