Trainees Meet Professionals: Ágnes Szakolczai

The guest of the first Trainees Meet Professionals event of the 2017 academic year is Ágnes Szakolczai, language officer at the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission in Budapest. The topic of her lecture is web translation; we can hear about the definition of the Commission, the most common types of text and their features, as well as relevant considerations, what serves or obstructs the compilation of a comprehensible, well-drafted translation.
