Terminology – For translators
The next Terminology Summer School (TSS 2020) will take place in July 2020 in Budapest, at the premises of the Language Centre of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), with a focus on translation.

TSS will now feature translation-oriented terminology management as its main topic (along with a number of other hot topics, such as machine translation, website translation,copyright issues etc). We expect participants from all over the world, be it freelancers, companies, in-house translators (from bureaus or international organisations) or trainers at universities.
The main idea is to discuss theoretical and practical questions at the intersection of terminology AND translation. Furthermore, we also aim to show that terminology is not only a bunch of terms but rather a way of thinking and a strategic tool that helps us think in clearer terms, and cooperate with colleagues of different backgrounds.
